On October 7, 2025, Ningbo Gongtie welcomed a special acceptance team from Indian clients. The core mission of this visit was to complete the factory qualification verification of the X3530E slant-bed tool row lathe. The client placed the order in early September, purchasing the X3530E model specifically based on the requirements of precision machining scenarios. After technical docking and parameter confirmation between both parties, the process finally entered the on-site acceptance phase.
As a best-selling model of Ningbo Gongtie, the X3530E slant-bed tool row lathe has become a preferred equipment in the field of small-batch precision parts machining, thanks to its core technical configurations and efficient processing performance. Its key technical highlights are remarkable:
Adopting a direct-drive spindle, which completely eliminates transmission backlash and power loss compared with traditional belt-driven structures, achieving a perfect balance between high rigidity and high precision;
Equipped with a slant-bed tool row structure, the machine bed adopts an optimized 30° inclination angle. This not only ensures that chips slide off automatically by gravity, avoiding the interference of chip accumulation on machining accuracy, but also features a precision tool row turret with a short tool change cycle, significantly reducing auxiliary machining time.
Targeting the turning needs of conventional workpieces such as shaft parts and disk parts, this model can achieve high-precision surface machining results. Its processing efficiency is more than 35% higher than that of traditional flat-bed lathes, making it an ideal replacement option for the upgrading and replacement of traditional flat-bed lathes.
The X3530E model delivered this time is equipped with a FANUC CNC system, which supports 12 internationally used languages including English and Hindi. It features a graphical programming interface and parameterized setting functions, allowing operators to master it quickly after simple training. Meanwhile, the system has a mean time between failures (MTBF) of over 6,000 hours, which can meet the stability requirements of continuous production. Additionally, it is equipped with a truss automation system, which possesses the full-process automatic execution capabilities of automatic loading, workpiece clamping, machining transfer, and finished product unloading. It can realize the unmanned closed-loop production of “raw material infeed → machining → finished product output”, effectively reducing errors caused by manual intervention, improving production line utilization rate, and lowering production costs.
During the on-site acceptance phase, full-condition performance verification was carried out. The core verification item was the “5,000-piece continuous machining stability test”:Technical personnel completed automatic raw material grabbing and precise clamping through the truss automation system, and the machine tool started continuous machining according to preset parameters. The client team supervised the entire process on-site, focusing on verifying three core indicators: machining accuracy consistency, equipment operation stability, and automation coordination efficiency.Throughout the continuous machining of 5,000 workpieces, there was no record of fault shutdown, and the system operated smoothly. The truss automation perfectly matched the machining cycle of the machine tool, successfully completing the production of 5,000 workpieces. The product quality met the client’s standards, and the shipment has been approved.
