When the main spindle receives a rotational command, the secondary spindle will rotate at the same speed and direction. This mode, called Synchronous Spindle Control, SSC, allows both ends of the workpiece to be processed simultaneously during the machining process, thereby reducing vibration and improving machining accuracy.
